The forward initially joined on loan from Arsenal in January 2025 before securing a permanent move to London City last summer.She was voted the Players' Player of the Season with six goals and four assists as London City Lionesses finished their first WSL campaign in sixth place.In the previous season, Godfrey played a key role as London City won the WSL 2 title and secured promotion to the top-flight for the first time. "I'm made up to sign a new contract at London City. I've loved my time here so far," said Godfrey."We have world class players here, people who have won World Cups, Champions League titles and know what it takes to win.
