أجرى الرئيس السابق للحزب التقدمي الاشتراكي، وليد جنبلاط، اتصالًا هاتفيًا بيمنى بشير الجميل، أشاد فيه بمواقفها الأخيرة التي تؤكد وطنيتها في هذه اللحظة الدقيقة التي يمرّ بها لبنان، مع تنامي الأخطار المحدقة بـ"لبنان الكبير" بفعل خطط العدو الإسرائيلي.

وكانت الجميل شجبت في وقت سابق، أي انتهاك أو مساس بالشعب أو الأرض يطاول أي بقعة من الـ10452 كلم²، مضيفة: "سنواجهه حتمًا".
