Global elites are 'frantic, panicked, and failing across the board', Alex Krainer tells GB News

Geopolitical commentator Alex Krainer has claimed global elites are entering a state of "panic" following what he described as a string of major political and cultural failures across the world.

Speaking during an interview with GB News, Mr Krainer argued several high-profile international initiatives allegedly backed by powerful global actors had collapsed in recent years, undermining their influence and long-term ambitions.

He told presenter Neil Oliver: "The global elites are failing across the board and they're failing with an almost complete consistency.

"They had a number of critically important projects that were meant to change the situation in their favour."

Mr Krainer pointed first to the Covid-19 pandemic response, claiming it had been intended to establish greater societal control but ultimately "disintegrated".

He then pointed to the war in Ukraine, which he described as a Western "proxy war against Russia".

The commentator said: "This proxy war against Russia through Ukraine was supposed to basically lead to a regime change and then putting somebody else in the Kremlin, not Vladimir Putin. That failed."

He also cited Iran as another example, claiming that efforts toward regime change there had likewise been unsuccessful.

Mr Krainer added: "The third project that was meant to happen was a regime change in Iran that failed."

He criticised what he described as broader cultural engineering efforts in the West, including trends surrounding gender identity and celebrity influence.

He argued: "Hollywood was supposed to be our aspirational Mecca. The whole gender dystopia project has also failed.

"They started encouraging all these Hollywood stars to have trans children to raise their boys as girls and girls as boys, and we're supposed to all go like, 'oh, I just I want to be just like Charlize Theron, that's so progressive and so wonderful'."

Mr Krainer said these perceived setbacks have contributed to increasing political instability and growing attempts to suppress dissenting voices.

He told GB News: "And so I think this is why they're frantic; this is why they're in panic. This is why they're demanding heavy-handed censorship. But it's extremely difficult. It's very, very difficult."

Mr Krainer went on to predict significant political upheaval across Europe should Ukraine suffer defeat in its war with Russia.

He suggested Governments in countries such as the UK, France and Germany could eventually collapse, leading to domestic political struggles and escalating unrest.

He said: "I think that in the future, what I think will happen is that once Ukraine is defeated, once there's a regime change in Kiev, then all these Governments in the UK, in Paris, in Berlin are going to start to fall.

"And then it's going to be the struggle for political power at home, which will lead into a reign of terror because they will not be able to prevail at the ballot box."

Mr Krainer concluded: "So what they're going to be doing instead, you're going to have people falling out of their balconies and let's say the leaders of a real opposition are going to be attacked, imprisoned, killed and so forth. And that's going to go on for a little while until there's a total civil war.

"And then, there's a total war against the ruling elites and God knows how it will end."
