Glamorous Texas mother-of-three ran finishing school for PROSTITUTES out of her comfortable suburban home, cops say

Published: 04:57, 17 April 2026 | Updated: 05:11, 17 April 2026 A Texas mother-of-three has been accused of grooming women into becoming escorts and running a prostitution ring involving a former police chief out of her suburban home. Ashley Ketcherside was arrested on racketeering charges on Tuesday. Her involvement in the prostitution ring was originally overlooked when her husband, Michael, was taken into custody on April 8, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. Prosecutors now say Ashley, who had two prior prostitution convictions, was once again offering her services. Court documents detail how police in Godley, Texas - a city about 30 miles southwest of Fort Worth - would frequent the Ketcherside's house. Cops seized Ashley's burner phone, on which they uncovered a large number of prostitution clients going back nearly 10 years, according to CBS News. Among those clients was allegedly former Godley Police Officer Solomon Omotoya, who authorities said solicited Ashley for sex in exchange for doing yard work and other favors. The ex-cop ultimately led investigators to former Godley Chief of Police Matthew Cantrell, who told police that Ashley's rate for sex was roughly $1,000 per hour - a number investigators said was supported by details found on her burner phone. As authorities then continued to investigate the ring, they allegedly found that the Ketchersides and Cantrell conspired to compile information on people they perceived to be adversaries, including members of the Godley City Council, the Godley ISD school board and other police officers.  Police said they even found evidence Cantrell had been soliciting several other prostitutes online during his time working for the Godley Police Department - and was 'pimping' out his own wife. Cantrell later allegedly confirmed to detectives that he would find boyfriends for his wife on the KIK mobile app, and admitted to being a paid subscriber to Ashley's OnlyFans.  When police then questioned 'AC' at her home, she allegedly told police how her husband found her a boyfriend she referred to as 'Matt,' who paid her $200 in exchange for sex - though detectives later found more than one transaction on CashApp from a 'Matt.' Officers then reviewed some text conversations, and said they were able to determine Ashley had been coaching AC in prostitution or escorting.  But Ashley denied the claims to Fox 4 News prior to her arrest, saying she is not a prostitute and has never been trafficked by her husband.  'He's a great husband, an amazing father to my three kids, and I believe in the justice system,' she said following Michael's arrest. 'I'm absolutely no victim of my husband or anyone else,' Ashley then claimed.  She then said there was 'absolutely not' a prostitution ring between her and Cantrell or Omotoya, but said she believes 'two consenting adults should be allowed to do whatever it is that they want to do.' Ashley had previously been convicted of prostitution in 2012 and 2016 Former Godley Police Chief Matthew Cantrell and former Police Officer Solomon Omotoya were also arrested after they allegedly solicited Ashley for sex Yet this is not the first time Ashley has been accused of prostituting herself. In 2023, the mother-of-three was removed from a Godley school district committee that decided the district's sex ed curriculum, after it was revealed that she had been twice convicted of prostitution in 2012 and 2016. She was even still advertising herself on escort websites at the time she was volunteering, and was soon kicked off other committees as well, according to Fox 4. The woman who blew the whistle on her past convictions now says she 'truly cannot believe that we're still dealing with this three years later.' 'If this was handled properly from Day One, we would not be where we are today,' Godley ISD Trustee Kayla Lain told the outlet. Still, she said she is 'very glad that the district attorney's office has been taking this seriously.' Ashley is now behind bars on a $20,000 bond, while her husband, Michael, remains in jail on a $450,000 bond on charges of continuous promotion of prostitution and racketeering. Cantrell, the former police chief, meanwhile, also remains in jail on a $100,000 bond on a charge of continuous promotion of prostitution and Omotoya, who faces a charge of soliciting prostitution, is being held on a $20,000 bond.
