GB News Daily Reflection — Wednesday 22nd July 2026

In today's GB News Daily Reflection, we acknowledge the pain of being misunderstood and draw on Jesus Christ’s teaching that all hidden things will one day be revealed.

We shoukd be enocuraged to trust that God sees the truth and that ultimate justice is not determined by public opinion or false accusations.

“One of the most frustrating experiences in life is being misunderstood. We try to do the right thing, but others have assumed the worst.

“Perhaps our words have been taken out of context, or a rumour has spread, and we find ourselves powerless to set the record straight.

“Jesus knew that this is the kind of world that we live in, and once he warned his disciples that they would face unfair criticism and even hostility. But he then offered them this remarkable reassurance.

“There is nothing, says Jesus, concealed that will not be disclosed, and nothing hidden that will not be made known. What a comfort those words are, because God sees what others miss. He sees the truth behind the rumour.

“Many of us have discovered that the truth doesn't always win in the short term. Sometimes the loudest voice carries the day, and we simply have to live with being misunderstood.

“But Jesus reminds us that the final verdict on our lives does not belong to social media, or to gossip in the workplace.

“A day is coming when everything will be brought into the light, not the version of events that won the argument: The truth.

“And in a world where truth can so often feel elusive, that is a hope worth holding onto.”
