In today's GB News Daily Reflection on Pentecost, we remember that while many Christian teachings can be intellectually understood, the Holy Spirit enables believers to truly experience and live out those truths.

This ransforms faith from abstract knowledge into a deeper personal reality.

“Most Christian truths are simple enough to understand, but we need the Holy Spirit's help to truly get those truths and live in them.

“I spend a lot of time telling people that God loves them. They hear those words, they comprehend the syntax, but they still live as though God were distant, cold, and permanently disappointed.

“The truth is there, but it hasn't quite landed. And that is why Christians speak about the Holy Spirit, God's own presence, not just informing us, but helping truth sink in. Turning something we've heard into something that we know in a deeper way.

“At Pentecost, Christians remember that moment when God's Spirit was given to all his people. It's a reminder that real understanding isn't just about information. It needs to come alive.”
