Fery, a wildcard at this year's tournament, uploaded a picture of himself shaking hands with the Princess of Wales to his profile on the app in a bid to win the attention of potential matches. The 24-year-old's sensational run was ended in his semi-final tie with the eventual runner-up, Alexander Zverev, who beat the new British No1 in straight sets. Fery listed 'professional tennis player' in his Raya biography as well as his time at Stanford University, the Californian college he attended on a tennis scholarship. He also included an image of him waving to the Centre Court crowds after he was finally defeated by Zverev earlier this month. Other pictures showed him playing on the grass court and speaking in an interview post-game. Also featured on his profile is the song We Are The People by Australian electronic music duo Empire of the Sun. Fery was previously in a relationship with Honor Millard, 24, who also attended King's College School in Wimbledon and is a Durham University liberal arts graduate. The family moved to London when the young Fery was a month old and he later attended King's College School, a 20-minute walk from the courts on which he would stage this year's dream run. Fees at the school total £11,940 per term, little issue for his businessman father, thought to be worth €320million (£273million). Loic, 52, made millions as a hedge fund manager and bought French Ligue 1 football club Lorient in 2009, selling his stake earlier this year though remaining president. Fery himself earned around £900,000 from his Wimbledon run, which followed a similar path to the semi-finals of the boys' doubles at SW19 seven years ago. In 2021 he made the third round of the main competition's mixed doubles alongside Tara Moore.
