Bayindir has been stuck on the bench since Senne Lammens' arrival in September and is ready to leave Old Trafford to return to Turkey.‌Bayindir joined United from Fenerbahce in September 2023 for a fee of £4.3million. He has made just 17 appearances for the club in two and a half years, having been behind Andre Onana and Lammens in the pecking order.‌He started the 2025/26 season positively, with Ruben Amorim handing him starts after Onana was offloaded on loan to Trabzonspor. But the £18.2million signing of Lammens from Royal Antwerp changed things and he is now ready to quit.‌Lammens has become the undisputed No.1 keeper and the goalkeeping department will see a major reshuffle this summer.
