For 76ers-Knicks, Joel Embiid asks Philly fans to show up: 'Don't sell your tickets'

Joel Embiid is asking Philadelphia 76ers fans to keep their tickets for the team’s second-round series with the New York Knicks, and the organization is doing its part to try to limit an onslaught of Knicks fans in the building for Games 3, 4 and 6 (if necessary).The 76ers put those tickets on sale Sunday but put terms in place to try to keep them in the hands of Sixers fans. A disclaimer on the team’s website said that “sales to this event will be restricted to residents of Greater Philadelphia area. Residency will be based on credit card billing address. Orders by residents outside Greater Philadelphia area will be canceled without notice and refunds given.”Advertisement
