Family desperate for answers as they say divers have searched lake for missing man

Searches are continuing for a man who was last seen at a beauty spot in Rhondda . The family of Stephen Faulkner said they were "all devastated" that he was yet to be found despite five days of them desperately looking for him. South Wales Police said drones, CSI dogs and helicopters had been used to search for the 66-year-old, who was last seen in the Tonypandy area. His family said divers had been searching Glyncornel Lake on Wednesday, May 27, after witnesses reported a potential sighting of him there on Sunday afternoon. His family are urgently trying to retrace his steps on CCTV. They said the last confirmed sighting of him on CCTV was at the Coppice Factory in Clydach, near the Royal Mail offices, on Saturday afternoon. "We are desperate for information," they said. "It's the fifth day and we still have no answers." Stephen was seen wearing blue jeans, a blue t-shirt with a black gilet and brown trainers when he went missing. He's described as having a stocky build with tattoos on both arms. Family and friends have been searching areas in Cwm Clydach Country Park and are urging anyone who might have CCTV or dashcam footage from the area that might help them retrace Stephen's steps to share it. On Tuesday, South Wales Police said witnesses had reported seeing Stephen at the Glyncornel Lake on Nant-Y-Gwyddon Road in Tonypandy. It is believed he might have been heading towards Llwynypia.
