It is understood he remains in hospital after the incident at around 8am on Saturday.The aircraft engineer was working for a third party provider and contracted by Jet2 when he fell from the plane. He suffered serious injuries but which are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.Images show the Jet2 plane with a rear door open near the tail and mobile stairs used for passengers are also seen nearby.A Jet2 spokesperson said: “We are aware of an incident that took place at Manchester Airport this morning (Saturday 11th April) involving an individual from a third-party provider."We are unable to confirm further details at present, however, can confirm that a full investigation has been launched.
