The Australian filmmaker spent years working with Presley’s estate to finally bring his life story to the big screen in what turned out to be the Oscar-nominated, Austin Butler-starring Elvis. Several years later, Luhrmann utilized never-before-seen performance footage to create something of a documentary and something of a performance film, Epic, which was paired with the soundtrack of the same name. That project was recently released on vinyl, and sales jumped dramatically from one frame to the next.
