Emergency services were called to the scene at 12.40pm on Saturday following reports of the incident. A NSW Ambulance spokesperson told the Daily Mail it was potentially caused by a medical episode. NSW Police said one of the drivers, a man in his 70s, is in a serious condition. He has been rushed to Royal North Shore Hospital. There was no update on the second driver. Live Traffic NSW said three of the four northbound lanes had been closed and lines of vehicles could be seen at a standstill. Drivers approaching the bridge have been advised to reduce their speed limit to 40km/h and prepare to merge. Sydneysiders have been urged to consider using the Sydney Harbour Tunnel.
