The disgusting Nigel Frage guillotine t-shirt has been removed from sale as police have launched an investigation.

Sabcat Printing was selling the top for £20, showing a guillotine with the words “We’re only making plans for Nigel".

The company, which is part of an “anarchist co-operative” based in Manchester, claimed it was "satire".

Green leader Zack Polanski sparked outrage after he was tagged in a post on social media, which saw a man attending a party rave in Bristol wearing the clothing.

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has called for Mr Polanski to be arrested following the London Assembly member's actions online.

Sabcat Printing, founded by two men from Burntwood, Staffordshire, stated the shirt was not meant to be taken seriously.

A warehouse worker, who asked to be called “Steve the cleaner,” told The Sun: “It is not for sale any more.

“It went on sale around spring, but I took it off sale last night.

“It is a p***take. It is satire.

“Nigel Farage is always on about people wanting to kill him.

“Unfortunately it has got Zack Polanski into trouble.

“It is not inciting anything. It is not meant to be taken seriously.

“It is not a good time with Ann Widdecombe. Ann Widdecombe was an old lady and what happened is horrific and not on.

“If they want to legalise the guillotine that is up to them.

“We sold a few of the tee-shirts – a very small amount in dribs and drabs. It was probably less than 20 and we won’t be printing any more.

“I am not consumerist, we don’t do fast fashion. The other tee-shirts on sale are not offensive.

“Some people are offended by anti-racism or anti-fascism.”

The picture of the individual wearing the apparel was deleted earlier this week after its contents were “brought to his attention” and he insisted he “does not support this type of dangerous message".

When questioned on the now-deleted post, Mr Polanski told BBC Newsnight if he had "done it deliberately", he would "be apologising".

Newsnight host Victoria Derbyshire grilled the Green leader, telling him: "You're accepting it was dangerous, and yet you won't apologise?"

Mr Polanski responded: "I accept it's a dangerous message that I shared inadvertently, and I've corrected that immediately.

"If Nigel Farage wants to apologise for all the times that he's put other people in danger, then I'll be happy to make an apology."

Reform UK have reported Mr Polanski to the Metropolitan Police, with a Scotland Yard spokesman stating: "We received a third-party report relating to an image shared on social media. We take reports of this nature extremely seriously, and officers are conducting enquiries into the matter."
