The Pistons are the No. 1 seed in the East, though they needed to come back from a 3-1 deficit to advance past the Orlando Magic in the first round. Bickerstaff has developed meaningful bonds with franchise cornerstone Cade Cunningham and the locker room as a whole. Since Bickerstaff took over, Cunningham has blossomed into a two-time All-Star and has been named to an All-NBA team.
