Dean left out of England squad for Lord's TestImage source, Getty ImagesImage caption, Charlie Dean impressively led England in series against New Zealand and India earlier this summerByMatthew HenryBBC Sport journalistPublished4 minutes agoEngland have left white-ball vice-captain Charlie Dean out of their squad for the historic Test at Lord's against India next month.Dean, 25, who has played three Tests, is set to captain England at the ongoing T20 World Cup. with captain Nat Sciver-Brunt ruled out of the next two matches at least because of a calf injury.But, having had a back injury of her own at the start of the season and returning earlier than planned when Sciver-Brunt also missed the start of the summer, England have omitted Dean to manage her workload.The Test starts on 10 July, just five days after the T20 World Cup final and nine of England's squad for that tournament are included, including Sciver-Brunt.
