Cops hunt man after woman ‘sexually assaulted by passenger who followed her'
Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to following the alleged sexual assault of a woman aboard a train . A man reportedly followed the woman through the train before sexually assaulting her. The alleged attack took place at around 7pm on the train which was travelling between Doncaster and Wakefield on April 14. The man disembarked the train at Wakefield Westgate railway station following the alleged attack. British Transport Police have released a picture of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident and have urged members of the public with information to come forward. A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers investigating a sexual assault on board a train between Doncaster and Wakefield have released this image in connection. “At around 7pm on Tuesday 14 April, a man on board the train followed a woman through the train and sexually assaulted her. “He then left the train at Wakefield Westgate railway station. “Officers would like to speak to the man pictured, as they believe he may have information that could help their investigation. “Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 652 of 14 April. “Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”المصدر: Mirror | Source: Mirror
