Conceicao on Liverpool report: ‘I’m happy at big club Juventus’
Juventus winger Francisco Conceicao was asked about reports he is on the Liverpool list to replace Mohamed Salah. ‘I play for a big club where I am happy.’
The Portugal international is currently in Cancun ahead of a friendly match against Mexico, as his nation gear up for the 2026 World Cup this summer.
Conceicao targeted by Liverpool as Salah heir

His characteristics make him a potential candidate to fill the shoes of Salah, who announced he will leave Liverpool at the end of the current campaign.
He was asked about these rumours during an official press conference and insisted he was in absolutely no rush to make the move to the Premier League.
“I know people talk about it being a great club, but I play for a big club where I’m happy,” replied Conceicao.
“Right now I’m only focused on these two games we have with the national team, and then I’ll concentrate on the final stretch of the championship to help my club as much as possible.”
A great deal of his future could well defend on whether Juventus manage to qualify for the Champions League, as they are currently battling Como and Roma for fourth place in the Serie A table.
“I’m at a big club where the pressure to win is immense. I just have to keep working and contributing with goals and assists,” he added.

Conceicao has four goals and three assists in 34 competitive appearances for Juve so far this season.
He had already been on loan from FC Porto last term and made it permanent for a fee of €30.4m, signing a five-year contract.
Now he hopes to be a part of the Portugal squad going to the 2026 World Cup in Canada, USA and Mexico.
“It’s a dream and a goal, and I will do everything to be there. My goal is to help with goals and assists, that’s what I try to do.
“I must continue to show every day that I have the ability to help the National Team and be helped by them to continue to evolve.”
