Görüşmede Hürmüz Boğazı'na kıyıdaş ülke olarak İran'ın egemenliği, güvenliği, meşru hakları ve çıkarlarına saygı gösterilmesi gerektiğini ifade eden Vang, aynı zamanda uluslararası boğazda seyrüsefer serbestisi ve güvenliğin sağlanması gerektiğini, bunun uluslararası toplumun ortak çağrısı olduğunu vurguladı.
