Ollie Driscoll (Raphael Akuwudike) makes quite a serious mistake in Coronation Street soon and unfortunately for him, the son of Gary Windass (Mikey North) is involved.
The situation begins with Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins). Believing that her relationship with George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) is going south, she heads to the pub to get drunk.
Having consumed far too much booze, Christina heads out of the Rovers, but topples over in the ginnel.
Watching this is Jake Windass (Bobby Bradshaw). He finds the entire thing hilarious, and decides to throw his water all over Christina while filming her.
Ollie spots Jake up to no good and races after him. Christina and Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) find Ollie pinning Jake to the floor. When Christina reveals that Jake poured water over her, nothing else, a mortified Ollie releases the young lad.
Obviously, it takes a matter of seconds for Jake’s dad Gary to get word of what has unfolded.
As Gary urges his lad to be honest during his statement, Jake tells him and Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) that he was on his way to call for Joseph Brown (William Flanagan) at the time of the incident.
Meanwhile, Christina and Glenda tell Ollie that they know he acted in good faith, but PC Jess Heywood then arrives and arrests Ollie on suspicion of assault.
With Ollie potentially looking at a custodial sentence, a stressed Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker) tells Gary in the week that his lad might end up in prison.
Jake listens, awash with guilt.
Will he tell the truth?
Or is Ollie about to spend time behind bars?
