The Manchester Evening News understands crews were called following reports that a child had got into difficulty in the water. One person told the M.E.N. they saw ambulance crews carrying out CPR at the scene. It is understood that the child was conscious when they were taken to hospital for further checks after being pulled from the water. The North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) has been approached for further information.
