Under the blazing bank holiday sun, Mr Kopke claimed victory in the men’s downhill category.
Speaking after the race while clutching his hard-won cheese, he said his goal was to “cement my name in greatness in cheese rolling glory”.
The champion also shared advice on his winning mindset, saying: “You can never be frightened. Just shut off your brain and then go for it.”
