By WILKO MARTÍNEZ-CACHERO, US REPORTER Published: 19:32, 15 August 2026 | Updated: 19:34, 15 August 2026 She amassed an impressive $1.1 million property portfolio by the age of 35 on a $141,000 prosecutor's salary - but now Andrea Leigh Sampson could face losing it all. Sampson, who worked as Assistant District Attorney for Anoka County in Minnesota until March, is accused of helping pimp out prostitutes from two of her homes.  In court filings, prosecutors say she did so with her boyfriend Frank Davone Reeves, 57, who investigators claim was simultaneously sleeping with two other women linked to the sex ring.   Sampson now faces 26 felony charges - 13 of promoting prostitution and another 13 of receiving profits from it, according to a criminal complaint filed Thursday. Sampson is yet to enter a plea, with a statement of probable cause seen by the Daily Mail exposing more details of her alleged wrongdoing.  The former prosecutor, who was suspended from her job in February and left it in March, allegedly used two of her Minneapolis-area homes as locations for the illegal sexual transactions, according to the probable cause statement.  The properties, on Harriet Avenue and University Avenue NE - are currently worth about $690,000 combined. Alleged victims were also photographed to be featured on 'sex ad postings' at Sampson's homes, the document continued. The ex–prosecutor also allegedly helped to create and maintain limited liability companies, which appeared to be shell companies, to help hide and funnel the profits, the probable cause statement says.  35-year-old Andrea Leigh Sampson, a former Assistant Anoka County Attorney, has been charged with 26 felonies related to managing a prostitution ring in the Minneapolis area Sampson allegedly 'secured and provided locations' for sexual transactions to happen, per a statement of probable cause filed on Thursday in Hennepin County District Court Minnesota's Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the state's Human Trafficking Task Force had been investigating the sex trafficking operation since 2021, per the probable cause statement. The filing alleged that fees charged to victims for postings an erotic website were later moved into bank accounts for the LLCs Sampson that had created. In addition to the two homes owned by Sampson, the filing noted that she lived in a separate address, which was not linked to the alleged prostitution ring. The property is currently worth about $420,000. Two other listed codefendants, Viktoriya Sergeyevna Komonash, 30, and Katherine Michelle Thomes, 36, were also allegedly involved in a relationship with Sampson's boyfriend Reeves, as they all 'continued to conduct their various business within and for the organization.' Thomes is named in the statement of probable cause, but it appeared that she had never been taken into custody or booked into jail. Law enforcement has already spoken to several of the alleged female victims who had been 'offered for commercial sex' by the group, per the filing. Twelve unnamed alleged victims were listed in the statement of probable cause, as well as a thirteenth unnamed woman who allegedly died on December 29, 2020, after an apparent drug overdose at 21 years old.  The alleged prostitution took place in Minneapolis, Bloomington, Eden Prairie and St. Louis Park, as well as other surrounding areas, according to the filing. The women in question had allegedly provided money from their 'commercial sex transactions' to the defendants, which included Sampson. A statement of probable cause alleged that two of Sampson's Minneapolis homes were used in the scheme, including a property on Harriet Ave The filing viewed by the Daily Mail claimed that another of Sampson's properties on University Ave NE was also used in the alleged prostitution scheme Sampson's home has not been linked to her alleged prostitution ring, though it was mentioned in the filing One of the women claimed she had been prostituted by the group for the 'past several years' at an apartment in Minneapolis and an address in St. Louis Park, according to the probable cause statement. She alleged that she had to pay $6 per post on an erotic website, while Komonash helped her create and make the posts. Two other unnamed victims alleged that they had to pay the group $100 of their takings per customer, per the filing. A separate victim alleged that Reeves 'was a pimp' and that he had sexually assaulted her before. The filing also described how one of the victims 'appeared scared about the defendants finding out that she was talking with law enforcement.’ Still, she allegedly said she had worked for the group since 2022 and that she currently worked for Reeves and Komonash at an autism center. The filing claimed that an investigation determined Sampson, Reeves and Komonash still operated 'assisted living and/or autism sites' and profiting from those, in addition to the alleged prostitution scheme. Sampson was arrested Friday and taken to the Anoka County Jail before later being transferred to the Hennepin County Jail, according to the Minnesota Star Tribune. The filing alleged that Sampson helped 57-year-old Frank Davone Reeves (pictured) run the scheme, and that she was in a romantic or sexual relationship with him Viktoriya Sergeyevna Komonash, 30, was also allegedly involved in the sex trafficking operation in the Minneapolis area, according to the probable cause statement Sampson had been assigned to the office’s Family Law and Civil Division, Anoka County Attorney Brad Johnson told KSTP. A public LinkedIn profile for Sampson said she had been with the Anoka County Attorney's Office since at least October 2016 as a student attorney. She became a Special Assistant County Attorney in July 2017 before being promoted to Assistant County Attorney at the end of that year, according to her profile. Sampson is scheduled to appear in court for the first time on Monday at 1.30pm local time, according to Minnesota court records. The Hennepin County Attorney's Office told the Daily Mail on Saturday morning that it could confirm the charges against Sampson, but that it would not offer further comment at this time. The Daily Mail has reached out to the Anoka County Attorney’s Office for further comment. Court records did not list an attorney for Sampson and it was unclear if she had obtained legal representation.
