Canadiens goalie Jakub Dobeš maximizes his strengths through fearless aggression

When Dustin Carlson met Jakub Dobeš in 2021, Dobeš was a freshman goalie at Ohio State University who loved hockey, winning and Chinese food buffets.Carlson, who coached Ohio State’s goalies from 2017-24, knew Dobeš was destined for greatness.“When he got to us, his skating was already elite,” Carlson recalled. “Every movement was crisp, hard and agile.
