By ALYSSA GUZMAN, US NEWS REPORTER Published: 00:01, 3 May 2026 | Updated: 00:18, 3 May 2026 Can you find the hidden potato in the bag of onions in this infuriating optical illusion?  A Redditor posted a seemingly innocent photo of a grocery bag full of what appeared to be white onions on their kitchen counter in the popular Find The Sniper Reddit page.  But amongst the roughly dozen onions was a hidden potato hiding in the bag.  With both vegetables having a similar colored outside layer, many Redditors had to take a long and hard look to find the sneaky starchy foe.  'That sneaky b*stard, turn it into a delicious omelette,' one Redditor wrote.  Can you find the potato amongst the onions? Look toward the center of the pile. A bag of onions hides a hidden surprise of a potato. See if you can find it  '[It's] almost dead center,' one commenter wrote.  'That was really good. I completely glanced right over it the first couple of quick looks until I actually started to search,' another wrote.   Feast your eyes on the onion wrapper.  If you focus your eyes hard enough, the potatoes skin is slightly different than the onion's.  Rather than a scaly onion wrapped, the potato's skin is much smoother and freckled.  If you couldn't spot it then take a look at the circled potato above  It's right under the loose onion peel! Did you find it?
