With The City projects already completed in Seoul and heading to Las Vegas next, the company could not forget to include Busan – members Jimin and Jung Kook’s hometown – into the mix, especially since the group will be playing there on their 13th anniversary (June 13, 2013). The group – comprised of RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook – will have two nights of concerts at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium (Friday, June 12, and Saturday, June 13). BTS performed their final show (BTS BUSAN) as a group there before each member had to enter the military in October 2022. Now, the group returns to Busan with a city takeover – AGAIN! During their 2022 free concert in Busan, over 503,000 visitors visited Busan in ten days (two-thirds of attendees came from overseas). It was also noted that the event and The City events generated around $760 million for the local economy. The City ARIRANG will unfold throughout Busan, including installations designed to harmonize with the cityscape, hotel packages, off-site events, a stamp rally, and more.
