
A British mother of three has died after being caught in the deadly Spanish wildfires, with her partner still fighting for his life.
Lisa Fryett and Simon Batchelor, from Essex, were caught in the deadly Almería blaze that tore through the Los Gallardos neighbourhood of southern Spain on July 9, where they were staying on holiday.
Her 20-year-old son Alfie paid tribute to her online, saying: "Words genuinely can’t describe how upset I am right now writing this... but yesterday we said goodbye to my beautiful mum.
"he best person ever you was my world I’m so grateful to be able to call you my mum and I will forever love you and I will cherish every memory I have with you."
