A British haulage company has entered into liquidation with £1.1million in debts after more than 35 years of trading.

Mor Cross Transport Services entered creditors' voluntary liquidation at the end of December last year.

The company was based at Enstone Airfield near Chipping Norton, with its registered office address now being at Waters Edge Business Park in Stoke-on-Trent.

According to Companies House, Mor Cross Transport Services Limited was first incorporated on January 23, 1997.

It entered insolvency on December 29, 2025, and saw Mustafa Abdulali and Neil James Dingley appointed as joint liquidators.

In total, Mor Cross Transport Services owed a total of £1.126million for 59 total entries, based on documents submitted online.

This included £143,088 to Scania Financial Services, £130,703 to Hardock Finance, £155,095 to Bibby Financial Services and £81,501 to Time Finance.

The company also owed around £50,000 to NatWest, £68,000 to HM Revenue and Customs, and £19,000 to Redundancy Payments Service.

The website for Mor Cross Transport Services is now not responsive, although previous editions are still available.

It claims that the company was first established in 1991 to "assist clients with their UK and European operations".

It added that it offers services of a modern vehicle fleet, while also providing the "old-fashioned values of a reliable first-class service".

The website suggests that Mor Cross had more than 20 vehicles and trailers, had over 30 customers and completed at least 1,000 deliveries.

It added: "Mor Cross Transport can offer bulk, traction and general haulage with flat and curtain-sided vehicles which allow the use of a Moffett Forklift.

"In addition, Artic and Rigid vehicles are available within the UK if required.

"We also have specialised equipment to carry bulk, roof trusses and temporary structures, as well as having available ramps for loading machinery.

The website also highlighted a UK-based repair and maintenance workshop to ensure all of its vehicles were in suitable condition at all times.
