BREAKING: Sir Dave Brailsford officially leaves Man Utd role after major INEOS reshuffle

Sir Dave Brailsford is no longer a part of the Manchester United hierarchy. The former Team Sky cycling chief was a part of the senior team at United following their takeover by INEOS, but has officially stepped back from the role. Sir Jim Ratcliffe installed Brailsford at United following his purchase of a stake in the club in December 2023. The 62-year-old was involved in setting up the new leadership team behind the scenes at Old Trafford, including the hiring of Omar Berrada as chief executive. But club filings reveal that Brailsford is no longer listed as a club director. It follows reports from last summer that stated he would move back to his director of sport role for INEOS.
