An air ambulance was dispatched to Red House Farm in Earnley, near Chichester, after witnesses dialled 999 at around 7.30pm on Saturday night. Police have said the toddler was involved in a collision with a van. The boy has now been taken to hospital for treatment after being seriously injured. Sussex Police said no arrests have been made. A spokesperson for the force said officers are investigating the incident. Footage of the incident shows a yellow helicopter departing the scene after landing in a nearby field. Witnesses reported seeing the air ambulance at around 9pm on Bookers Lane, the scene of the campsite.
