Bankacılık endeksi yüzde 2,80, holding endeksi yüzde 1,20 değer kaybetti. Sektör endeksleri arasından en çok kazandıran yüzde 2,16 ile metal ana sanayi, en fazla kaybettiren ise bankacılık oldu. Küresel piyasalarda Orta Doğu'daki jeopolitik gerilimler ve enerji fiyatlarına ilişkin endişeler risk iştahını sınırlarken, Borsa İstanbul'da BIST 100 endeksi de Avrupa borsalarına paralel günü negatif bir seyirle tamamladı. ABD Başkanı Donald Trump'ın dün, Hürmüz Boğazı'nda mahsur kalan ve Orta Doğu'daki krizle ilgisi olmayan "tarafsız" ülkelere ait gemilerin boğazdan geçişine yardım etmeye başlayacaklarını açıklaması, petrol tedarikine ilişkin endişeleri bir miktar azaltmıştı. Bugün ise İran devlet medyası, Hürmüz Boğazı'ndan geçmeye çalışan ve Cask Adası yakınlarında deniz trafiğini tehlikeye attığı belirtilen ABD donanmasına ait bir geminin 2 füzeyle hedef alındığını bildirdi. ABD Merkez Kuvvetler Komutanlığı (CENTCOM) ise İran'ın saldırı iddialarının asılsız olduğunu belirtti. Yurt içinde açıklanan verilere göre ise Türkiye'de enflasyon, nisanda aylık bazda yüzde 4,18, yıllık bazda yüzde 32,37 oldu. AA Finans'ın nisan ayı enflasyon verilerine ilişkin beklenti anketine katılan ekonomistler, nisanda Tüketici Fiyat Endeksi'nin aylık bazda yüzde 3,19 artacağını tahmin etmişti. Analistler, yarın yurt içinde reel efektif döviz kurunun, yurt dışında ise ABD'de dış ticaret dengesi ve hizmet sektörü Satınalma Yöneticileri Endeksi (PMI) başta olmak üzere yoğun veri gündeminin takip edileceğini belirterek, teknik açıdan BIST 100 endeksinde 14.300 ve 14.200 puanın destek, 14.500 ve 14.600 seviyelerinin direnç konumunda olduğunu kaydetti.
