تورد الروايات إن الإمبراطور “نيرون” احرق روما من اجل مشهد يليق بعظمته المتوهمة. النار، دائما، تعطي معنى لمن لا معنى له. كان “نيرون” يحتاج الى نار أكبر من رأسه، من وهمه ومن فراغه. حريق هائل أراده فقط كي يتمكن على رماده من كتابة قصيدة شعر… في إسرائيل اليوم، لدينا “نيرون” صغير، نسخة مصغّرة… نسخة بلا موهبة، ولا أي حظ من الشعر، وهو يريد إحراق المعتقلات بمن فيها. يرتدي بدلة وزير، يحمل مسدس لا يفارق خصره كأنه طفل في عيد “المساخر” (او البوريم) ويُدعى إيتمار بن غفير.
