استقبلا رئيس الجمهوريّة جوزاف عون في قصر بعبدا وفد من تكتل لبنان القوي برئاسة رئيس التيار الوطني الحرّ النائب جبران باسيل.

بعد اللقاء، شدّد باسيل على "حصريّة السلاح والقرار بيد الدولة"، مؤكّدًا أنّ "السلام يكون من خلال المحادثات بين المتخاصمين".

كما أكّد على أنّنا "نرفض أن يحصل مع الرئيس عون ما حصل معنا".

وعن أزمة السفير الايراني في لبنان محمد رضا شيباني، أجاب باسيل: "لا تعليق".
