حذر نائب وزير الخارجية الإيراني كاظم غريب آبادي من أن أي هجوم يستهدف البنية التحتية سيقابل بتدابير مضادة متناسبة، وستقع جميع التداعيات الناجمة عن أي تصعيد على عاتق مرتكبيه.
