AS FAR vs RS Berkane CAF Semi-Final Tickets Sell Out Over 40,000

Rabat – The ticket sale for the CAF Champions League semi‑final first leg between AS FAR and RS Berkane sparked massive demand from the very first hours. 

The match, scheduled at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, quickly turned into one of the most sought‑after matches of the season.

More than 40,000 tickets were sold on day one through the official digital platform, including the high‑end VVIP category priced at MAD 2,000(USD 200), which also sold out. 

The pace of sales confirmed the strong anticipation surrounding the all‑Moroccan showdown, as FAR supporters rushed to secure their seats well ahead of matchday.

With initial batches gone, fans are now waiting for the release of the North Stand tickets, the only remaining section yet to be made available. 

Supporters hope the next drop will allow them to reach the stadium’s full capacity and avoid leaving empty seats in a match.

According to the distribution plan, 5% of the total tickets are allocated to RS Berkane fans, in line with CAF regulations for away supporters. 

The remaining majority is expected to be taken up by FAR’s large fan base, which has been pushing for a full house to create maximum pressure and atmosphere in this decisive phase of the competition.

The match comes at a crucial moment for both clubs. FAR are having a strong domestic form and aim to take advantage of playing at home in the first leg. 

Berkane, who made history by reaching the semi-finals for the first time in their history, will aim to secure a positive result in Rabat and keep their qualification hopes alive ahead of the return leg.

The first leg will be played this Saturday at 8 p.m (GMT+1) in Rabat, while the second leg is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, at 8 p.m (GMT+1).
