To go from making the playoffs to being a championship contender is one of the most difficult things to do.The second step has eluded the Philadelphia 76ers so consistently that they dismissed Daryl Morey, their team president, on Tuesday. The Sixers made the playoffs in five of the six years that Morey ran basketball operations. They made the second round multiple times, including this year.
