Arthur's Seat has been engulfed in flames for the second time this summer as a wildfire broke out on Sunday evening.
Plumes of white smoke could be seen as far as Fife as the fire broke out below Salisbury Crags in Edinburgh at 6.40pm last night.
Six appliances were seen in attendance as they tackled the fires overnight.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed there were "no reported casualties," with Police Scotland closing nearby roads to all vehicles.
