Porto have confirmed that they've signed Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior on a permanent basis for £14.6million. Kiwior, 26, joined the Portuguese giants on loan in September but has now put pen to a paper on a four-year contract. The Poland international's move has been announced after Porto won the Primeira Liga title for the first time since 2022 with two games to spare. Alongside compatriot Jan Bednarek and former Chelsea star Thiago Silva , Kiwior has formed part of a formidable defensive unit which has conceded just 15 goals. Under Francesco Farioli, Porto have lost just one league game. The newly-crowned champions will pay a fixed fee of €17m (£14.6m) for Kiwior plus €5m (£4.3m) in potential add-ons. Arsenal, who stumped up £21m to sign Kiwior from Italian side Spezia in January 2023, will also receive €2m (£1.7m) on any future sale.
