Arsenal star getting messages 'from a lot of women' ahead of PSG Champions League final

Piero Hincapie shared he received messages "from a lot of women" after an embarrassing moment when his shorts came down during the Gunners' 1-0 victory against Burnley.

The incident occurred in Arsenal's final home fixture before clinching the Premier League title.

The 24-year-old Ecuadorian found himself in an awkward situation while battling with Burnley's Axel Tuanzebe near the byline.

After tumbling to the ground, Tuanzebe inadvertently stepped on Hincapie's shorts, causing them to slip down and expose his bottom to television audiences worldwide.

The defender swiftly rolled over, shielding himself while hastily pulling his shorts back up before continuing with the match.

Speaking to CBS Sports Golazo before Arsenal's Champions League final clash with Paris Saint-Germain, Hincapie was able to laugh about the whole affair.

The defender admitted his teammates have continued to mock him about the incident.

He said: "Yeah, the thing is they (my teammates) try to be funny and end up going too far.

"But anyway, no, it was just a moment – a really embarrassing moment, to be honest.

"I tried to enjoy it afterwards because it'll be there forever, so you might as well enjoy it."

When asked about the messages he received following the incident, Hincapie responded with a chuckle: "Yeah, a lot of people, a lot of women."

The defender can now put the embarrassing episode behind him and focus on adding European silverware to his collection.

Hincapie featured in Arsenal's final league match against Crystal Palace, starting at centre-back before shifting to left-back following Gabriel's introduction at half-time.

Throughout the campaign, the Ecuadorian has made 38 appearances across all competitions for the north London side.

Arsenal are aiming to become the Kings of Europe for the first time in their 140-year history.

Kai Havertz is the only outfield player in Arsenal's squad to have won the Champions League, having led Chelsea to a 1-0 victory over Manchester City in the final.

When asked about his feelings for the final, the German said: "We have so much confidence. We have been fighting on the highest level for a couple of years; we have finally won the Premier League, and that has given us a big boost.

"It doesn't matter if you are an underdog or whatever. We are going to go on the pitch and are going to beat them.

"As a kid, I could have never dreamt that I would score a goal in the final and win that game. It is a moment I will never forget. I will always be proud of it.

"And I just try to take that feeling into Saturday. Hopefully, I will get that feeling again and bring the trophy home to north London."
