Arsenal appear to have received three distinct Premier League title advantages over Manchester City . Last weekend, the Gunners seized control of the title battle by defeating Fulham while City drew at Everton , and now Thursday evening's European results have handed the leaders a clear edge. Firstly, with Aston Villa reaching the Europa League final against Freiburg , sixth position in the Premier League can now guarantee Champions League football. To offer the likes of Brentford, Brighton , Bournemouth and Chelsea that chance, Villa must prevail in Istanbul and finish fifth. Two of Man City's remaining four opponents are Brentford and Bournemouth, and they face them both before Villa's European final, which provides them with extra motivation to attempt to claim points off Guardiola's side. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace could play a pivotal role in the title race as they meet both City and Arsenal over the forthcoming weeks. Oliver Glasner's team are not quite secure from relegation just yet, but will almost certainly be by the time they host the Gunners at Selhurst Park on the final day of the campaign. During the spell in which they'll be eager to rack up points, the Eagles make the journey to the Etihad Stadium. Although the former fixture falls on a Monday evening, the Gunners play first, with Guardiola's side taking to the pitch the following day owing to their FA Cup final against Chelsea the previous Saturday. All 10 fixtures on the final day will commence simultaneously, though Arsenal will be hoping the title is already secured by that point, particularly as their campaign extends into the following week.
