شهد الطريق الملوكي الرابط بين محافظتي الكرك والطفيلة، اليوم الخميس، انهيارًا جديدًا في منطقة اللعبان، نتيجة السيول الجارفة والأمطار الغزيرة التي تأثرت بها مناطق جنوب المملكة خلال الساعات الماضية.

وبحسب مصادر محلية، فإن تدفق المياه بكميات كبيرة، خاصة إثر فيضان سد شيظم في المنطقة، أدى إلى انجراف أجزاء من جسم الطريق، ما تسبب بإغلاقه بشكل احترازي أمام حركة المركبات حفاظًا على سلامة المواطنين.

وأكدت الجهات المختصة أن الانهيار ألحق أضرارًا بالبنية التحتية للطريق، وأعاق حركة التنقل بين المحافظتين، في ظل ظروف جوية صعبة رافقتها سيول نشطة وانجرافات واسعة.

من جهتها، باشرت كوادر الأشغال العامة أعمال الصيانة الطارئة في الموقع، حيث تعمل الفرق الفنية على إعادة تأهيل المقطع المتضرر، إلى جانب إنشاء تحويلة مرورية مؤقتة لضمان استمرارية الحركة المرورية بأسرع وقت ممكن.

ودعت الجهات المعنية السائقين إلى توخي الحيطة والحذر، والالتزام بالإرشادات المرورية، واستخدام الطرق البديلة إلى حين الانتهاء من أعمال الإصلاح بشكل كامل.

يُذكر أن الطريق ذاته شهد خلال الأيام الماضية انهيارات جزئية متكررة بسبب الحالة الجوية، ما يسلّط الضوء على تأثر البنية التحتية بقوة السيول غير المسبوقة في المنطقة.
