By ANDREW PIERCE, DAILY MAIL CONSULTANT EDITOR AND COLUMNIST Published: 23:40, 12 April 2026 | Updated: 23:40, 12 April 2026 More trouble for Sir Keir Starmer. Three Cabinet ministers face defeat at the next election because of a Green Party surge, according to polls. They include Darren Jones, the PM's top aide. And on top of that, the Greens are causing problems in Starmer's own back yard. Sue Vincent, a Labour councillor for 24 years and former deputy leader of Camden Council in north London, has written to residents telling them to vote Green in next month's local elections. She twisted the knife, too, saying the late Frank Dobson – who served in Tony Blair's Cabinet – would have voted Green. In a letter to borough residents, Vincent said: 'I want change. Certainly change from the deaf and dictatorial current leadership we have to the listening and lively discussions within the Green Party.' It's embarrassing for Starmer, as Vincent is one of his most senior local councillors. And it's a particular snub considering Dobson was his predecessor as the MP for Holborn and St Pancras. In another embarrassing moment for Sir Keir Starmer, Labour councillor Sue Vincent, a former deputy leader of Camden Council, has told residents to vote Green in May's local elections While no Prime Minister has yet been unseated while serving in No 10, several constituencies once represented by political leaders are no longer held by their parties, including those of David Cameron, Boris Johnson, Theresa May and Liz Truss. Tom Bower is not the only biographer sinking his teeth into Nigel Farage.  Two investigative journalists, Miles Goslett and John Sweeney, are also working on tomes about the Reform UK leader.  Three books on just the one MP. Anyone would think they suspect Farage will be prime minister when the results come in at the next general election. Three books are being written about Reform UK leader Nigel Farage. He managed to lock himself inside it, leaving the key outside. Bursting to spend a penny, he had to fill a pan. Writing on his Substack, Watson said he consulted ChatGPT, which pointed to an emergency release in the van. He escaped with alarms piercing the night air. Watson is in favour of AI taking over the world: 'In my case it may need to hurry up.' Rachel Reeves threw a No 11 party for the cast of Channel 4's A Woman Of Substance. Perhaps the Chancellor had warmed to the storyline about an impoverished lass who becomes one of the world's richest women and vows revenge on all the boorish men who tried to undermine her. Guido Fawkes reports that Mick Lynch, bolshie general secretary of the RMT union from 2021 until 2025, might run for London mayor in 2028. He should throw his hat in the ring this month. The RMT are again planning four more days of industrial disruption around the capital. I am sure Londoners will be keen to remember the starring role he's played over the years. Will Mick Lynch, general secretary of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT), run to be the next London mayor? Singer and actress Rachel, now 48 and pictured below, is best known as a member of pop group S Club 7. Amol, 42 and married with four children, makes his confession on the Rosebud podcast.  Asked by Gyles Brandreth about his first celebrity crush, Amol revealed: 'Rachel Stevens from S Club 7. She doesn't know this and if she watches this it'll be so mortifying because, yeah, she was a huge, huge, huge teenage crush of mine.'
