Let’s get right to it. One really nice draft, on paper: the Chargers’. Here’s The Athletic’s Daniel Popper, wondering if this team just filled all of its major holes in one weekend, starting with No. 22 overall pick Akheem Mesidor sliding in at EDGE:💬 The Chargers entered this draft with five picks. They ended up adding eight players, six of whom were drafted on Day 3. The roster needed this more robust investment. The Chargers are in great shape heading into May. Another team that looks good here: the Eagles. 💬 GM Howie Roseman is a known wheeler-and-dealer, and he didn’t stray from that approach Friday night. A day after trading up to snatch receiver Makai Lemon, he took tight end Eli Stowers in the second round to add another big target. He also drafted offensive tackle Markel Bell in the third round to groom for the future and added a Pro Bowl linebacker in Jonathan Greenard via trade with the Minnesota Vikings.Full Eagles debrief here, and full winners and losers from Mike here. The Eagles are included.One draft that looks a little iffy: the Steelers’. Pittsburgh wanted to take Lemon in the first round but saw him go a pick earlier to the Eagles, then pivoted to OT Max Iheanachor. It seems likely that the Steelers won’t get much out of their third-round pick (QB Drew Allar) or fourth-round pick (WR/KR Kaden Wetjen), the latter of whom had a sixth-round grade from Dane Brugler.
