شهدت مديرية سرار بيافع بمحافظة ابين، اليوم هطول أمطار غزيرة وتدفق كبير للسيول، شملت مناطق واسعة من المديرية في أول تدفق للسيول الموسمية لهذا العام.

وجاء هطول الأمطار على مناطق يافع بعد موجة جفاف شهدتها بعض المناطق في المديرية مما أدى إلى نزوح العشرات من الاسر إلى مناطق في ساحل ابين، حيث استبشر مواطنو المديرية بهطول الامطار وسقي الأراضي الزراعية، مما يبشر بموسم زراعي ينتظر سكان المديرية.

وتعد مديرية سرار مديرية من المناطق الريفية التي تعتمد على الامطار الموسمية، في ظل غياب للمشاريع من قبل الجهات الحكومية باستثناء الاعمال المنفذة من قبل المنظمات الدولية ورجال الخير.
