(CNN) -- قال مبعوث الصين إلى المنطقة إن الصين "لن تهدأ" في جهودها للعمل كوسيط دبلوماسي في الشرق الأوسط، حتى مع تقليله من قدرة بكين على حل النزاع على الرغم من علاقاتها الوثيقة مع إيران.

قال تشاي جون للصحفيين في بكين يوم الاثنين بعد عودته إلى العاصمة الصينية عقب زيارات إلى المملكة العربية السعودية والإمارات العربية المتحدة والبحرين والكويت ومصر: "القوة لا تصنع الحق"، وهي جولة قال تشاي إنه كان لا بد من القيام بجزء منها على الأقل بالسيارة بسبب إغلاق المجال الجوي.
