دعت وزارة التغير المناخي والبيئة الجميع إلى التقيّد ب 8 إرشادات وقائية عند الوجود في المناطق المفتوحة والطبيعية، والتعامل بحذر مع الأحوال الجوية المتغيرة غير المستقرة، وذلك بالتزامن مع موسم الأمطار خلال الفترة الحالية. وأوضحت الوزارة في مجموعة تغريدات على منصة «إكس»، أن الالتزام بالتعليمات يسهم في تعزيز السلامة العامة، ويحدّ من المخاطر المرتبطة بالوجود في مناطق الأودية والسيول خلال هذه الفترة. وشملت النصائح الوقائية: تجنب الاقتراب من المياه الراكدة، كونها قد تكون خطرة أو ملوثة، والابتعاد عن أي مياه يتغير لونها أو تنبعث منها رائحة، وأهمية منع الأطفال من اللعب في تجمعات المياه حفاظاً على سلامتهم
