Al Filahi Cash Partners with Moroccan Pharmacists to Boost Digital Payments
المصدر: Morocco World News | Source: Morocco World NewsAgadir – Al Filahi Cash, a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole du Maroc, has signed a partnership agreement with the Confederation of Pharmacists’ Unions of Morocco (CSPM), aiming to modernize payment systems across the country.
“Proud to announce the signing of a strategic partnership with the Confederation of Pharmacists’ Unions of Morocco (CSPM) to deploy TPEs adapted to pharmacies,” announced the general director manager El Ansari Fahd.
The agreement focuses on equipping pharmacies nationwide with electronic point-of-sale (POS) terminals tailored to their specific operational needs, making pharmacy transactions more secure, faster, and more efficient.
The Al Filahi Cash partnership was followed by similar initiatives, including Damane Cash last month’s agreement with national pharmacy organizations to promote the adoption of electronic payments.
The initiative enables pharmacies to integrate secure and efficient digital payment solutions into their daily operations, diversify payment options, and reduce reliance on cash while streamlining transactions for both pharmacists and patients.
Such projects, which facilitate faster and more reliable payments, improve service delivery and aligns with evolving consumer expectations for convenience and security.
This initiative is part of Morocco’s national tragedy to digitalize payments across key sectors, including healthcare and tourism.
Earlier this year, Morocco’s Ministry of Tourism signed a partnership agreement with Attijariwafa Bank and Visa to launch the national “Stay Cashless” program, designed to adopt electronic payments among tourism operators.
The program introduces solutions such as contactless payments, pay-by-link services, and dynamic currency conversion to simplify transactions for both national and international visitors.
This move enables Morocco to advance a cross-sector digitalization strategy, reducing reliance on cash, which continues to dominate everyday transactions in many parts of the country.
