Air Force lawyer, 42, faces JAIL after he let friend host huge party at $1.5m mansion that attracted twerking woman and clogged tiny neighborhood with traffic

Alex Simpson, 42, was charged with disorderly conduct, breach of the peace and public nuisance over a massive bash at his Birmingham home on June 13. Scantily clad revelers flocked to Simpson's home en masse for the party, clogging the streets of his tiny neighborhood with traffic. Partygoers were captured on camera twerking on cars and dancing poolside, with some women apparently busting a move in the water completely topless. One woman was even filmed twerking and doing the splits in the pool.  Neighbors complained about the disruptions caused by the gathering and told WJBK how they felt 'afraid to leave their homes' while the revelers were in the streets. Simpson, who appeared in court Wednesday, pleaded not guilty to the charges and was given a $1,000 bond.  He apologized for the disruption caused by the bash but also revealed he is considering pursuing legal action against the city. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges Simpson told WDIV that officials handled the incident in an 'improper and discriminatory' manner. He claimed the city issued criminal charges against him days after police responded to the bash and told revelers the 'noise level was appropriate' and that the 'party did not need to be shut down.' The attorney further accused the city of compounding issues in wake of the event. He claimed the city has since posted several notices on his property alleging that 'permits for work done at home years ago were not completed.' 'I also received a letter from the City asking me to resign from my position as an alternate hearing officer for the city,' he said. Furthermore, Simpson said his family had allegedly been subjected to doxxing in the wake of the incident, with personal information reportedly being published online.  Doxxing is a form of harassment that involves revealing someone's private details without their consent, often exposing them to abuse, threats or intimidation.  The act can be considered illegal in Michigan if it crosses into criminal harassment, cyberstalking, or cyberbullying. Police allegedly responded to the bash, but opted not to shut it down Investigators believe Simpson rented out the six-bedroom, six-bathroom house out to a third party, who rented it out to party co-host Rodney Harrington He said his daughter's full name and the school where his son is enrolled were shared on social media, which has caused 'great frustration and anxiety.' Simpson claimed the city determined that 'no harm had been done' because that information is easily accessible online. Although the 42-year-old owns the six-bedroom, six-bathroom house, he actually was not home when the party occurred. He said the party was co-hosted by his family friend Rodney Harrington, who has also been charged with noise ordinance violations and permitting a gathering of disorderly persons. Harrington, 27, pleaded not guilty and was released on bond. As a condition of their release, neither he nor Simpson are allowed to rent out property or host parties in Birmingham. Simpson, who has gone door-to-door and apologized to his neighbors individually, is worried the charges will impact him professionally. 'We're here today being arraigned on criminal charges, you know, for what was a pool party,' he told WXYZ. 'Criminal charges can impact both my legal career and my military career, and this doesn't seem like it's warranted for what took place.' The two men allege that problems arose at the end of the evening as guests were leaving the event. But Simpson has said he allowed Harrington, whom he described as a family friend, and a few of his cousins to throw the bash at his pool, pictured, if they made a donation to charity Harrington, seen in court Wednesday, was also charged with noise ordinance violations and permitting a gathering of disorderly persons. He has pled not guilty A neighbor, however, claimed the party was already 'out of control' by 6pm. Guests are understood to have left after 9.30pm. According to the outlet, investigators believe Simpson rented the home out to a third party, which then rented it to Harrington for the party. But the lawyer, in his interview with WDIV, said he allowed Harrington and a few of his cousins to throw the bash if they agreed to make a donation to charity. 'I want to apologize again, Harrington said. 'This all got blown out of proportion. It wasn't that bad in my eyes.' The Daily Mail has approached Simpson, Harrington's attorney and the city of Birmingham for comment. Simpson has not yet retained a lawyer, according to 48th District Court records.
