Adouls Council Clarifies Service Fees Amid Nationwide Strike
Rabat – The Rabat Regional Council of Adouls has issued a public statement to address misinformation circulating online about service fees.
“The legal fees remain fully in effect, and any isolated misconduct does not reflect the profession,” the Adouls council wrote in its statement.
The council also stressed that all services follow legally established rates and professional regulations, urging citizens not to generalize individual deviations.
The clarification comes amid Morocco’s adouls announcing a nationwide, open-ended strike starting April 13, 2026, in protest against draft law No. 16.22 regulating the profession.
The strike follows a series of coordinated actions, including two-day and extended nationwide stoppages in February and March, and a symbolic demonstration outside Parliament in early April, highlighting growing frustration with the government’s proposed legal framework.
The Adouls council warned that some misleading reports may aim to damage the profession’s reputation or influence the ongoing protests.
Citizens are encouraged to report suspected violations and verify information before making any payments, with official contact numbers provided for guidance.
