Name: Charlie Sex: Male Age: One year old Breed: Mastiff x Great Dane Where: Many Tears Animal Rescue, Llanelli The centre says: "Charlie is a handsome young Mastiff x Great Dane who came to us as a stray so we have no history of his background. When he first arrived he showed a worried side and would bark but he quickly bonded with staff and has settled in beautifully. "Charlie is now a very affectionate and friendly boy who greets people as though he has always known them. He absolutely adores his kennel mum and loves spending time with people, happily seeking out fuss and attention – even attempting to sit on laps despite his size!" He has been described as an absolute gentleman and it is easy to see why. Although he can be a little wary when meeting new people with a gentle and patient introduction he is quick to make friends. Once he feels comfortable Laurence will quietly slink over for more fuss and attention showing his sweet and affectionate nature." He finds great comfort in cosy blankets and loves to curl up and relax so we think he will truly enjoy all the comforts that home life has to offer. She briefly moved into a foster home and was settling in wonderfully but sadly she has had to return to the rescue centre as her cherry eye recurred and requires further surgical repair."
